 As an example, our 10.4" All-Weather monitor in the video input configuration, the MPC-AWM10V, is being used on the SPC-LE 33' interdiction boats manufactured by Safe Boats International for use by the U.S. Coast Guard and CBP. These monitors receive display information directly from FLIR Systems cameras and are vital for day-time and night-time operations, allowing us to "see" a visible image in daylight and an infrared image at night of the bad guys at a safe distance and before they know we're watching. These monitors must perform in all weather conditions, all lighting conditions, and all sea conditions, even during high speed chases. The latest feedback we received was simply, "WOW, are these monitors nice!" |
